We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced bereavement services professional to help shape and influence the bereavement services provided in Hinckley and at our new crematorium currently being built on the outskirts of Hinckley.
We are looking for a manager with excellent communication skills, the ability to build and motivate a new team, commercial acumen and knowledge of the statutory, legal, health, safety and operational decisions necessary to run a crematorium and burial grounds. The successful candidate will be key to building and maintaining an excellent local reputation and shaping new services to support to bereaved families for years to come.
The Bereavement Services Manager role will focus on ensuring a successful opening of the new crematorium, the development of the Bereavement services team and its services, ensuring the effective management and operation of Hinckley crematorium, Ashby road cemetery (Hinckley) and 8 closed church yards.
The successful candidate will be expected to hold an existing ICCM certificate in crematorium management or Cremator technicians training scheme certificate (CTTS) or the equivalent experience and work to achieve the ICCM diploma during the first 3 years of their employment.
