Are you ready for new experiences, new challenges and to embrace new ideas? Then Support work with Halton Community Day Services is definitely for you!.
We put people first and focus on what people with a disability can do as opposed to what they cannot do. Supporting people in diverse ways is one of the reasons why Halton Community Services has won national awards.
We are looking to recruit support workers who can provide the appropriate physical, emotional and intellectual support to the people in our service, to enable them to fulfil their aspirations.
We will provide the training in the field of social care to enable you to actively support people with disabilities to operate our businesses and services.
Our expanding businesses include: Cafes and Hospitality, Ice Cream production, Brewery, Market garden produce, Dementia Day Service, Hairdressing and Beauty Salon, Art & Crafts, Animal Husbandry unit, Shopmobility.
You will need to be flexible enough to work across a number of business venues within Halton and to support people to take part in a variety of meaningful activities that promote employment, inclusion and offers opportunities to promote independence and skill development. You will be an effective communicator and be able to produce written records to a good standard.
Experience is not essential for this post, but your value base is. Training will be provided in the key areas of care support.
Please take a look at the rota in the supporting document section of the advert for details of the posts and vacancies. Please specify which roles you are interested in when you complete your application.
