Civil Enforcement Officer - (Ref:CEO)
Salary up to £22,443.20 pa
Civil Enforcement Officers play a vital role in ensuring good traffic flow, maximising available parking spaces and enhancing safety throughout the Borough of Broxbourne by ensuring compliance of both on and off street parking contraventions. The role also entails ensuring the smooth running of the Council’s pay and display car parks and on-street pay and display areas.
Excellent customer care skills are essential for this role and applicants must be able to demonstrate good people skills often in challenging situations. Applicants must be good team players and have basic computer skills. They must be prepared to work in all weathers on a flexible rota basis which will include weekends and bank holidays. A manual driving licence is required.
This role requires a standard disclosure check.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
