What will I do? Train to become an accredited Registrar
What training will I receive? Service specific training in Registering: Births, Deaths, Marriages/Civil Partnerships and issuing certificates. Conducting Ceremonies including Marriage, Civil Partnership, Citizenship and Funerals.
What skills will I gain? Customer Service, ITC, public speaking and administration skills.
What experience, knowledge and skills do I need? Previous experience of working in a customer focused environment and ITC skills and knowledge of good administration procedures.
At the end of the two year period the successful candidate would be qualified to take a position within in the civil registration service, should the opportunity arise.
