About the Role

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Crawley Borough Council to join our Anti-Social Behaviour Team as a Caseworker.

 

You will manage your own caseload providing practical advice and support to residents across all tenures. You’ll play a crucial role in resolving serious neighbourhood disputes using a variety of tools and will need to work effectively in partnership with other departments and agencies.

 

Ideally you will have:

 

  • Previous experience of working within ASB, tenancy management, Environmental Health, Criminal Justice, mental health or other similar setting
  • An ability to deliver comprehensive advice and support to vulnerable members of the public
  • Strong problem-solving and decision making skills  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Successful shortlisting for interview will include meeting the essential criteria set out in the job description and person specification however training will be provided to the right candidate where they are able to demonstrate the qualities and skills required for this role.
