We are looking for a motivated lawyer to join the Isle of Wight Council to provide criminal and civil litigation advice to internal departments and advocacy on behalf of the council. The post will sit within the Litigation & Property Legal Team. The successful candidate will be able to handle a busy caseload with minimal supervision. You will be a qualified Chartered Legal Executive, Solicitor, or Barrister.

Knowledge of regulatory law and criminal procedures is essential as the post holder should be able to provide immediate effective criminal support. Previous local authority experience would be an advantage, as would experience of dealing with civil litigation matters.
