Carers, Support Workers and Mentors in all North Somerset areas
Connecting Lives requires Carers, Support Workers and Mentors to help adults with a wide range of care and support needs which may include a learning disability, physical disability, mental health needs, or other health needs or vulnerabilities.
Connecting Lives welcomes applicants from all family types and all walks of life. Previous experience is not always necessary as each Connecting Lives Carer, Support Worker and Mentor bring their own unique skills and experience to the job.
Connecting Lives requires applicants to have a desire to help people, have relevant life experience and have the skills, values, and a positive approach to supporting vulnerable adults.
The support can be provided in a variety of locations including in the community; in the service user’s home or in the Connecting Lives Carer, Support Worker or Mentor’s home.
The focus is on building supportive relationships with the same Connecting Lives Carer, Support Worker or Mentor to enable the service user to live more independently and achieve positive outcomes.
The pay rates vary depending on the service user’s needs and the location of the work.
£9.44 - £11.44 per hour or Full time £394 - £652 a week
