Based in Surrey, Runnymede Borough Council is establishing a new permanent Strategic Asset Management Team to manage its extensive Property Portfolio of over £650 million.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Graduate Surveyor to join the Strategic Asset Management Team. Reporting to the Property Portfolio Manager, you will be assisting the Property Portfolio Surveyors with managing a portfolio of mixed properties. There will be an opportunity for you to also work with the Building and Projects Team, as well as with the Facilities Team to deliver an efficient Estate.

The Successful candidate will have excellent communication and numeracy skills together with the ability to working effectively with others within the organisation, private and public sector partners. A degree in surveying is also key to this role, along with the desire to or currently undertaking your APC. You will have knowledge of property law, RICS code, financial budgeting awareness and landlord & tenant practice procedure, together with regulatory & statutory framework.

Access to a suitable vehicle for business use and holding a current driving licence are also key to this role.
