Electoral Services Officer
Scale 5 £26,511 - £32,234 per annum
37 hours per week
We are looking for an organised and experienced electoral administrator to support the Customer Access & Electoral Services Manager in the strategic planning, project management and operational delivery of electoral registration activities and the conduct of elections.
You will have a proven track record in electoral registration and elections and will have gained or be willing to work towards the AEA Certificate in Electoral Administration. You must be able to work flexibly (during busy election periods you will be required to work a significant number of additional hours, including evenings and weekends) and be organised and self-disciplined.
You will provide highly competent administrative support to the service including maintaining the register of electors, promoting and encouraging electoral registration and participation, processing absent vote applications, publishing monthly alterations lists, organising and supporting data mining activity and meeting all statutory deadlines of the election timetable.
This is a politically restricted post.
