The Council is looking to recruit a Finance Officer to support the Finance Business Partners with budget setting and monitoring, ledger work, completion of financial reconciliations and administration, as well as some finance project work. We are looking for someone who will make a difference, your "can-do" approach and willingness to take responsibility for your work will help you succeed in this role.
You will be proactive, organised, be able to work well under pressure, work well independently and with the team. Good communication skills and customer care, resilience and adaptability are all essential.
The role is for 21 hours per week, from Wednesday to Friday. In unusual circumstances a different working pattern will be considered.
