About the role

In this interesting and varied role you will be dealing with pupils on a daily basis providing a high level of pastoral, welfare and frontline first aid support as appropriate, including designated administrative and clerical tasks. You will be the first point of reference for first aid and medical emergencies so must be calm, empathic, well organised and self-motivated.

You will need to have the ability to engender a warm and positive rapport with our children and staff and an excellent manner with children of all abilities and backgrounds, as well as the talent to use language and other communication skills that children can relate to.

In addition, you will support pupil attendance and wellbeing, maintaining appropriate records and liaising with staff, parents and other agencies as appropriate. You should ideally hold a valid certificate of competence in either First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work or any other level of training or qualification that is appropriate to the circumstances or be prepared to undertake the training.
