We are seeking an enthusiastic motivated individual, with a positive approach, who recognises the importance of working with residents in the management of their homes and estates. They should enjoy working with the public and be able to demonstrate a real commitment to providing excellent Customer Care and a top-quality service.
The post holder will be responsible for undertaking a range of housing, and estate management functions including dealing with anti-social behaviour cases, neighbourhood management and fostering good landlord/tenant relationships for a ‘patch’ of properties. In undertaking these duties, you will be expected to oversee and progress community led projects that make a difference to residents.
Previous experience of working with the public in a similar capacity is essential.
A full current UK driving licence is essential, as the post holder will be required to provide cover across the district. Reasonable adjustments can be made for those who are unable to drive due to a disability. As a result you will be required to sign up to the authorised external DVLA driving licence validation organisation that we use to manage and monitor our employees driving licence data.
This post is permanent. The hours of work for this position are 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. This post is based at Palatine Hall, Lancaster.
The Council currently operates an excellent Flexible Working Hours Scheme which applies to this post. Subject to the needs of this business, this may allow employees to work between the hours of 6:00am-10:30pm.
