Islington HR is reshaping its services. We’re realigning our service provision to put digital, learning and innovation at the heart of what we do. We’re creating 3 new functions – HR Customer Delivery, Organisational Development and Strategic HR Partnering.

You will be responsible for providing an internal OD consultancy service at the highest level, working proactively to design and deliver solutions to meet the council’s needs and key objectives. You will lead on the development and delivery of the Council’s talent strategy for current and aspiring managers within Islington and ensure that our learning and development offer enables the innovation and ambition to be the best council in the country.
You will be responsible for the development and delivery of a best-in-class employee relations policy and pay and reward review, driving innovative new approaches developed in partnership with key stakeholders. You will also work closely with senior leaders and colleagues across the council to develop and deliver Islington’s Diversity & Inclusion strategy, building and embedding an inclusive workplace culture and reflecting the residents we serve at all levels in the council.
