Hours 37 hours per week
Location: Widnes based but must be flexible to work in either Runcorn or from home as required.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our agile and resourceful team. We are looking for a Senior Administration Officer who enjoys working in a varied and busy environment and has previous office experience.
You will be the team leader for an administration team providing support to front line staff delivering Council services across the Borough and you will manage the workload of the team and be flexible to provide support to other teams as necessary.
You must have experience of note-taking and organising meetings as well as experience of undertaking a wide range of general office tasks. You should also have IT experience and be able to work to deadlines.
Previous line management experience is not necessary but we are looking for someone who has the drive and enthusiasm to lead and motivate a team. Support and training will be offered to the successful candidate.
Ideally you will be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) including Maths and English, and have an awareness of maintaining confidentiality in the course of the job.
