GRADE E £23,541 to £27,041 per year
Located between Nottingham and Derby, Erewash Borough comprises both the rural Green Belt and the busy commercial centres of Long Eaton and Ilkeston. With a proud tradition of manufacturing, which continues to this day, the Borough currently faces a number of exciting Economic Development challenges including the £25m Long Eaton Town Deal, New Stanton Park regeneration site and HS2.
As an Assistant Economic Development Officer you will support the Economic Development team in delivering the Council’s economic priorities in relation to employment, business and recovery from Covid-19. The role will allow you to work on a wide variety of interesting projects where you will maintain good working relationships both within the council as well as with businesses and other external partners. You will operate in a dynamic and supportive working environment where Continuing Professional Development is afforded a high priority.
