Salary: £6,565 Per Year

2 Part-Time Roles - Applicants must be able to work flexibly Monday to Friday. 8.15am to 3.30pm

Each role is 15 hours per week term time plus 5 hours for holiday work and INSET days as required

Kendrick School is a high achieving selective school for girls aged 11 to 18 with students who are engaging, cooperative and eager to learn.

Food and Textiles are taught at KS3 and GCSE and are part of a broad and balanced education offered at Kendrick School.

Required for September/October 2021, two enthusiastic and creative Food and Textiles Technicians who ideally have equipment and machinery skills but full training would be given to the right applicants.

Applicants must be able to work flexibly, Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 3.30pm, and the successful candidates will work with the Heads of Departments and each other to devise a timetable to cover the role across the whole week.

The successful candidates will support both staff and students in a range of activities including preparation of materials and equipment as well as demonstrations. They will be responsible for ensuring that the classrooms and equipment are kept clean and tidy and that all health and safety regulations are followed. Working hours to be discussed at interview.

Applicants must have excellent practical and organisational skills, have good IT knowledge, be a good communicator and work well alongside students and staff.
