We are currently recruiting for two new Customer Services Advisors to join our team based at Tonbridge Gateway. We have the following vacancies:
Customer Services Advisor – Full Time (Monday to Thursday 09:00 – 17:00 & Friday 09:00 – 16:30)
Customer Service Advisor – Part Time 17.5 hours a week (3.5hrs a day Monday to Friday – 11:00 – 14:30)
Tonbridge Gateway offer a multi-agency service to customers of Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council, Kent County Council services, and a range of partners from the public and voluntary sectors.
Reporting to the Interim Gateway & Customer Services Manager, you will undertake a customer facing role for enquiries related to Customer Services, Gateway, and tourist information as well as support our telephony service to residents. Our offices are open seven days a week at Tonbridge, so you may be offered work on any day including at weekends. Weekend rotation will normally be 1 in 5 weekends and you would subsequently receive days off in the week in lieu.
Educated to GCSE grade C standard or above in maths and English, you will have previous experience of providing a customer focussed, front-line, public enquiry service. You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, and demonstrate confident IT skills.
There is a lot to learn, so you must be prepared to assimilate and retain a large amount of information quickly and demonstrate a “can-do” approach to your work. In return we will give you ongoing training and support.
