Do you have sound working knowledge of multi-agency working?
Due to the current postholders successful secondment, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join North Somerset’s Early Years & Childcare Team. We are looking for a highly motivated team player to join the 4 existing Early Years Support Advisors who turn their hands to a wide range of activities – in any one day.
As an Early Years SEND Advisor you will take a lead role in developing and implementing SEND interventions and processes across the early years sector. You will be central to the work of the team around early identification and inclusion support, MAISEY and Early Years Top Up Funding. You will take a lead on The Link Transition Project.
You will be involved in arranging and delivering a range of training and development activities to provide the Private, Voluntary & Independent early years workforce with the tools to do the job. You will support with data gathering, analysis and report writing to inform our SEND self-evaluation. Your line manager will be one of the 2 Early Years Consultants.
This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
