About the role
We are looking to recruit two people to join our successful Tenancy Sustainment Team.
Working with our most vulnerable and complex tenants to sustain their tenancies, the post requires a good understanding and knowledge of our landlord responsibilities in relation to the Care Act and Safeguarding legislation, as well as the current welfare benefits system and the range of support and advice services available in the city. Having the communication skills to build rapport and trust will be the key to working with this client group many of whom face multiple barriers to inclusion sometimes resulting in challenging behaviour. Working citywide the successful candidate must be able to carry out home visits on a lone working basis.
The role also may sometimes involve some physical work such as helping tenants to downsize, or de-clutter their homes.
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
Work Permits: We may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System. Please see Gov.uk for more information on the Skilled Worker Visa.
We welcome applications from all sections of the community but particularly encourage applicants from a BME or White Other background as well as those who identify as male or trans as these groups are currently under-represented in our Directorate workforce.
