12 Month Fixed Term Contract / Secondment Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to join Hackney’s Parking Services team at an exciting time. We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Consultation Officer to reach out to and engage Hackney’s residents, businesses and visitors.
You will be responsible for carrying out all consultations and drafting communications to Hackney’s residents and businesses on parking related matters including proposed parking schemes, changes to parking restrictions and general enquiries. In addition you will also be responsible for analysing and reporting on consultation feedback as well as managing the contents on the services’ webpage.
You will need a combination of excellent communications skills and the ability to plan, deliver and analyse consultations to a high standard. You will need to be highly organised, politically astute and able to write clearly and effectively for a variety of audiences. Experience in either communications or consultation in a public service environment is desirable.
