An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team of pool library staff, covering shifts in up to 12 library service points across North Somerset. This is a varied role, delivering customer service to library users as well as undertaking routine library tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in books and technology, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service. Flexibility is essential and you will need to be available to work shifts on any day from Monday to Saturday, in any library in North Somerset. Shifts are generally known a month in advance, although some short notice shifts are also available. You will need to be adaptable and ready to work with a range of library teams in a variety of settings.
This post is a zero hours contract with no guaranteed hours. North Somerset Council terms and conditions of employment apply.
This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
