The service delivers a broad range of offers and Reablement is one part of this, the team also supports people with new technology, we are looking for people who want to help people of all ages remain at home and get their life back on track following episodes of illness or an event that has affected their life skills.

 

Your role in our journey

As a Support Worker, you’ll support and help people to regain and, in some cases, learn new skills to live as independently as possible. You’ll help them to establish independence, gain confidence and develop social connections that will enable them to meet their aspirations. Our clients need support seven days a week including bank holidays, our hours are from 7am to 11pm, we need people who can commit to this and recognise that we work in the community and on our own.

 

What you’ll need

To join us, you’ll need a relevant Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent) or willing to achieve within 2 years plus experience of working with vulnerable groups. Whether as a volunteer or professionally, you have worked with people who are experiencing multiple needs. As important as your ability to engage with vulnerable people will be your flair for building collaborative working relationships with their personal support network and our partner agencies. Being available to work when needed.
