Where you’ll be working

You’ll join the lifeguard team at Pools on the Park in Richmond. Here facilities include indoor main and teaching pools, heated outdoor pool and grounds, fitness suite, health suite, café and two studio spaces.

 

What you’ll be doing

As a Lifeguard Supervisor you’ll provide a professional and friendly approach to pool safety.

Overseeing a team of staff, you’ll be making sure that all customers are kept in a safe and secure environment, delivering great customer service and ensuring the facilities are clean, safe and staffed, so that every customer has a great experience.

You’ll also be asked to carry out cleaning duties, pool water tests and routine maintenance.

What we’ll need from you

We ask that you are National Pool Lifeguard qualified for this role. You’ll also need to have a Pool Plant Operator’s qualification and a current First Aid qualification.

We also ask that you have previous Leisure Assistant/Lifeguarding experience. Good customer care skills are also essential, along with the knowledge of Health & Safety issues. 

What we can offer you

£10.20 per hour (plus holiday pay allowance on top of this).

We’ll offer you casual shifts which will involve working some daytime or evenings, both during the week and at weekends (depending on the centre). Any shifts offered would be by mutual agreement, so you can always fit in work around your other commitments.
