We are looking for two enthusiastic, highly motivated Occupational Therapists to carry out varyingly complex and diverse assessments in order to decide eligibility for Blue Badges and Disability Bus Passes through the application of specialist clinical knowledge in relation to physical and mental health disabilities.

You should have an up-to-date registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a qualified Occupational Therapist and have demonstrable ability to analyse and interpret complex information and situations.  

You will need to have good IT skills, be able to work under pressure to prioritise work and manage your time effectively.  Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be required to work collaboratively with the team (and other professionals as necessary) in order to determine eligibility and provide professional advice and guidance to applicants and to colleagues.   This will include advice on the eligibility of applicants for Disabled Parking Bays where the service seeks mobility advice on alternative parking options.
