Wokingham Adult Education is looking to recruit experienced sessional tutors to deliver non accredited short community learning courses to adults from a range of community locations across the Borough and also online via Zoom. Tutors are expected to plan, deliver and assess their courses in consultation with the Community Learning Coordinator.
We are looking to expand the range of expertise within our pool and are particularly interested to hear from people who are able to teach any of the following:
- Introduction to working in social care
- How to understand social care - for carers
- Family Learning - Supporting teenagers with anxiety
- Family Learning - Supporting new parents
- Family Learning - supporting teenagers academically
- Healthy Eating for children or adults
- ICT for beginners
- Digital skills for beginners
- Hair and beauty
- Courses to address lonliness through crafting, practical skills or cooking
Please specify in your application the range of the courses you have experience in delivering.
Candidates must hold a recognised qualification in adult education at level 3 or above and must have English and Maths qualifications at level 2 or above. Additionally candidates will be expected to have considerable experience or qualifications to level 3 in their subject area.
