Are you made of the “Wight” stuff?
Over the past two years, we have been working hard at transforming our generic social work workforce into a special workforce focussing on - Long Term Conditions and Older People, Mental Health & Hospital Services, Learning Disability and Short-Term Resources.
We are well on the way on our integration journey with our health partners having established integrated locality teams across the island, an integrated complex discharge team within the hospital setting and are now moving forward with our models of integration for our Mental Health Team, Learning Disability Team and Resource Centre’s Rehab & Reablement.
But we have more to do and need an exceptional and experienced Group Manager to take forward our agenda in making the difference for those we serve across this beautiful Island.
We have been working hard during the national pandemic to support staff into an agile working framework and this has proved not only effective but has become the preferred way of working.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of our management team within our integrated localities service. You will lead 3 small multi-disciplinary locality teams to work alongside health partners. We are about to co-locate across the Island and you will be part of the overall strategy to take this forward and lead on our model of strength based practice within the community.
You will have the flexibility to work remotely whilst attending the office based in any of 3 locality locations as and when the need arises. The local authority does offer a reimbursement scheme for commuters to the Island.
