The starting salary for this role is £27,991 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.
Please note, it is policy for new employees to commence at the beginning of the relevant salary range with limited exceptions.
The role will be based in Reigate. However, during the Covid19 restrictions, home-working is in place and post Covid19 the proposal is to retain an agile workforce approach, including working from home.

We are looking to appoint a Pensions Project Support Officer to support the Surrey Fire and Rescue Service Pensions Team with a number of complex workstreams and projects. The role will provide broad and comprehensive business, project, meeting and key administration in terms of document generation, report writing, data collection, project monitoring and general administrative duties.
Using excellent communication skills, you will build good working relationships with a number of internal teams and external advisors and specialists.
Skills and experience required for the Pensions Project Support Officer are:
- Customer focussed and with the ability to work collaboratively by building strong relationships with senior people both internally and externally.
- Previous experience of working in a project environment and an understanding of basic project management principles.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills, the ability to demonstrate initiative, and strong IT capabilities.
- Ability to plan and prioritise workloads and use initiative to meet the needs of stakeholders (both internal and external).
- Ability to deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information.
