Employment Initiatives supports unemployed local residents to obtain employment, training and/or education. The Restart Programme will deliver assistance and help workless people who are claiming benefits and will have been out of work for at least 12 months.
The postholder will assist with co-ordinating, developing and managing delivery of the Restart programme. This includes ensuring that the service is delivered in accordance with the contractural standards.
Experience of working in an employment related advice and guidance role will be required. You should hold a NVQ level 4 in Information, Advice and Guidance, or equivalent, relevant qualification.
