Early Intervention Officer (2 posts)
£25,481 - £27,041 per annum
37 hours per week – 2 year Fixed Term Contract
We are seeking to appoint two Early Intervention Officers to assist the Housing Options Team in providing an efficient, high quality advice service for residents who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
Post 1 – the post holder will lead in respect of working with local private landlords to secure suitable accommodation for homeless households and help prevent existing tenants from losing their home.
The role is a challenging one and will require a positive, can do attitude to engage and develop effective partnership working with landlords and letting agents.
Post 2 – the post holder will focus on the early detection of homelessness, providing pro-active advice and assistance to help customers find a solution to their needs before reaching crisis point.
The post holder will need to be a creative thinker, who can provide a tailored serviced to meet the individual needs of our customers.
Both posts are on an initial 2 year fixed term basis.
