We are seeking two passionate individuals to join the newly created Resident Advice Team who will be responsible for providing help, advice and support to Huntingdonshire residents. With a focus on identifying problems, issues or concerns at an early stage, the Resident Advisors will work with residents to effectively problem solve their situation and put in place a robust plan of action that may include both signposting and referrals to partner agencies and or community and voluntary groups.
Learning from our experience throughout the pandemic, we recognise that many residents do not historically see the District Council as an organisation that can help. We want to change that perception and the role will involve the successful candidates proactively reaching out to identified residents who may be in need of additional support. Ultimately the aim being that through early intervention, the team will help prevent a more serious outcome for the resident further down the line.

We are currently working fully remotely for the foreseeable future when we anticipate returning to the office on a flexible basis which will still include work from home and flexi time opportunities but candidates should be within commutable distance of our offices in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire or able to attend meetings as required if further afield.
