Employment Initiatives supports unemployed local residents to obtain employment, training and/or education. The Restart Programme will deliver assistance and help workless people who are claiming benefits and will have been out of work for at least 12 months.
The postholder will contribute to the development and delivery of the service, and lead on the Restart programme. You must also have prior experience in supporting people into work or voluntary work positions, along with knowledge and experience of organising and delivering events and day to day operational activities to achieve contractual outcomes.
You must also have an NVQ level 5 in a professional management qualification or equivalent.
