Assistive Technology Project Manager
Scale 7 £37,890 - £40,876 per annum

Fixed Term Contract or Secondment Opportunity for
Lightbulb, an award winning service, are looking for a Project Manager to work with partner organisations to map existing services and design an assistive technology offer which supports people to remain independent in their own homes.
The successful candidate will develop a project action plan which could also see the development of pilot projects to inform future wider roll out of the project across Leicestershire.
Applicants will need to have an appreciation of adult social care objectives for the needs of vulnerable people and effective commissioning of multi –agency funded projects.
You will have excellent organisational skills, including ability to keep parties on-track, manage competing demands and workload to meet project timescales.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential to enable effective work with internal colleagues from different local authorities, external stakeholders and partners as well as the ability to engage community groups and members of the public of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
This exciting opportunity has come available due to the agreement of all seven district and borough councils to contribute to joint funding an Assisted Technology Project, which will support residents across Leicestershire.
This position will initially, in line with current government guidance be based from home and this is likely to be the case for the foreseeable future. If and when government guidelines change the role may revert to being office based for some of the time.
