As a small district council with a large land footprint we are responsible for over 5,500 council houses and associated community venues.
The recently formed Housing, Health and Wellbeing Directorate are looking to complete their responsive repairs service structure with individuals who are passionate about providing excellent services, forward thinking and commercially minded to take forward a high performing service to ensure our homes are fit for now and meet the demands of the future.
We are currently looking for a Supervisor to work in our busy Responsive Repairs department, working with the team to effectively plan and deliver the service with continuous improvement as a focus.
You will supervise your team, motivating and supporting them to ensure that they deliver to the highest standard an efficient and cost efficient service.
With a proven track record of success in supervising a team to deliver a repairs service, the successful candidate will hold a HNC, or equivalent experience, in a housing or building discipline and will have previous experience of effectively scheduling works, meeting KPIs with a multi-trade team, managing budgets, procurement and complaints.
The post holder will be required to work flexibly in this role to achieve positive outcomes for all stakeholders in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
