The Sports Development services at Huntingdonshire District Council are seeking individuals to support its programmes of increasing participation in sport and physical activity across the district.
We need individuals available to deliver this programme from this summer onwards on a flexible basis with ongoing variable work available within both term time activities and future school holidays.
If you have experience of working with young people, adults or disability groups and have any experience of assisting sports coaches with delivering sports or physical activity sessions for people then this role could be of interest.
We are looking for candidates who are approachable, adaptable and reliable with a good work ethic
This is predominantly a delivery role assisting others set up and deliver activities in a supporting role at sports and physical activity sessions for various user groups. There will also be some admin in terms of registrations.
The postholder will be required to hold an enhanced DBS in order to undertake the duties of this role. Please note we are looking for various Sports Activity Leaders across a number of our sites in Huntingdonshire including Huntingdon, St Neots, St Ives and Ramsey and hours will be variable dependent upon your circumstances.
