Waltham Forest in east London is undergoing major transformation with a significant amount of investment coming into the borough through new developments, regeneration and infrastructure improvements.
Waltham Forest Lead Local Flood Authority are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with an interest in SuDS and Flood Risk Management to work within the Councils LLFA team and with external consultants to progress flood studies for four Critical Drainage Areas within the borough. The Flood studies will aim to identify Flood Mitigation and SuDS opportunities to protect homes and businesses from flood risk and to facilitate future development within the borough. There will also be many opportunities to work on a variety of current and emerging Flood Risk and SuDS projects to be delivered by the LLFA over the coming years.

The post is ideally suited to a graduate although applications from non-graduates will also be considered on the merits of their academic qualifications and other achievements.
