Would you like to receive regular training opportunities as well as regular, ongoing clinical supervision?
Arun District Council are excited to have the opportunity to provide maternity cover for our Alcohol Wellbeing Adviser. This new role will specialise in supporting people through one to one work to reduce their alcohol consumption to safe recommended drinking levels. Our Alcohol Wellbeing Adviser will be responsible for developing the service which will involve networking with other organisations and delivering promotional work including talks and events as well as undertaking clients on a 1-2-1 basis, and so excellent organisation skills and being highly motivated are essential for this role. Full training, peer support and ongoing clinical supervision will be given.
Due to the nature of the role, the Alcohol Wellbeing Adviser will have knowledge around alcohol awareness and screening with an experience of working in a health care setting offering lifestyle information and behaviour change interventions.
