Job Title: Development and Commissioning Officer x2
Salary range: £35,745 - £39,880
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: 18 months fixed term
Based at County Hall in Hertford, you will be part of the Early Help Commissioning team (within the Family and Health Services Commissioning (FHSC) team), which is responsible for the countywide commissioning and service development for early help services for children and their families.
We are looking for 2 candidates to undertake specific commissioning functions across the different activity that we commission, including; Family Centre Service, My Teen Brain, My Baby’s Brain, targeted parenting support, relationship support, local school partnerships and other Early Help Families First commissioning activity. You will also support services with their Early Help Families First commissioning activity, undertake contract monitoring visits and support all activity within the commissioning cycle.
With experience in commissioning you will also support the Development and Commissioning Manager in developing policy and processes which ensure improved outcomes for children, young people and families. Your work will involve working in partnership and collaboration with a range of stakeholders to achieve these aims.
Working flexibly across the early help agendas, the successful applicant will be educated to degree level, or with equivalent working experience, and be confident, motivated and possess excellent communication skills and partnership work.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in commissioning, particularly within family support and specifically of early help agendas.
