One You Plus Officer

We are looking for a community-minded individual who are keen to do their bit to help our communities within the Sevenoaks District through the COVID-19 pandemic. This is an exciting new role to co-ordinate, develop and deliver initiatives supporting behaviour change to increase levels of community wellbeing and physical activity and targeting children and young people, alongside the least active and vulnerable groups, including those impacted by Covid-19 (Clinically Extremely Vulnerable) to improve the health and social wellbeing of residents.
The role is to develop and promote community-based support, sport and physical activity opportunities, Public Health campaigns and the benefits of leading a healthy and active lifestyle.
The role will provide a person centred service that aims to help residents alleviate the lifestyle stressors they experience. As a result you will contribute towards the psychological, social and physical wellness of the resident by helping them to navigate and access the correct service to meet their needs.
This is a fixed term role (37 hours per week) up to 31 March 2022.
The successful applicant will be confident communicators with previous experience of engaging with the public and providing high quality customer service.
Full-time and part-time hours may be considered and all successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check.
