Forefield Community Infant & Nursery School is a highly regarded three form entry school providing excellence within a friendly, caring community.  We take pride in our high standards and our children’s achievements.  The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a hardworking, self-motivated, reliable, trustworthy Site Supervisor who will be a key member of our staff team ensuring that our school building and premises are safe, secure and maintained to a high standard for all who attend, visit and work at Forefield.

 

The successful candidate will report directly to the school's Finance & Premises Manager and have the ability to carry out essential maintenance, repairs, installation and decorating tasks, minor maintenance of the premises, internal fixtures, fittings and furniture.  Duties will include health and safety checks of the building and grounds, the management of electrical and mechanical systems (e.g. school boiler).  You should be able to produce a planned preventative maintenance programme to ensure that the environment, all systems and equipment remain safe and in a good state of repair as well as have the desire to provide the very best, safe, clean and inspiring environment in which children can learn and thrive.

During the school holidays, duties will include maintenance, decoration and ensuring that the school is prepared ready for the beginning of term.
