Temporary Community Engagement (MDC8361)

£16,274 - £17,615 per annum, 29.97 hours per week  

Temporary funded post for up to 24 months                                                           

 

Mansfield District Council is seeking a passionate and honest people person who can engage with communities and project manage the Creative Women Together project.

 

Working as Community Engagement Officer you will be responsible for engaging with communities and building links with partners to deliver activities for vulnerable participants. This includes developing and delivering a programme of community events, workshops and talks which helps engage the local community with Mansfield Museum’s collection.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering creative activities with communities and the community Engagement Officer will organise and supervise all activity linked to the ‘Creative Women Together’ project including the project management, budget supervision and evaluation framework.

 

You may not have worked in the heritage or arts sector previously, but bring transferable skills which will add value to our small, creative team.

 

The post holder is required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check.

The post involves driving and so the post holder will be required to undertake relevant DVLA licence checks.

The employee will be required to work out of normal working hours / attend evening meetings / work weekends and / or bank holidays as part of their role.
