About the role
The Skylark Federation are looking for a motivated and flexible Teaching Assistant and lunchtime supervisor to join our welcoming and friendly school at Hamsey from September 2021. This would be a great opportunity to be part of a popular group of schools that are expanding and we would love to welcome you to our Federation. We have friendly and engaged families, happy children who are keen to do their best and a positive, supportive working environment.
The hours of work are 8.45am until 12.00 noon as a teaching assistant and then 12.00 until 1.00pm as a lunchtime supervisor. There is potential for further hours.
The successful candidiate will support learning and contribute to a wide range of teaching and learning activities. You will work alongside teachers with high expectations of excellence for all learners. The successful candidate will be expected to advance pupils learning in a range of classroom settings, including working with individuals and small groups. We will provide you with any relevant training needs and you will work closely alongside the class teachers, SENCO and other support staff as part of our supportive and enthusiastic teams.
