About the role

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed School Administration Officer to come and work at an exciting new special school in Hailsham, East Sussex. This position will start on the 1st September 2021. You will ideally have experience of leading in a school office environment, and be able to step immediately into all apsects of the role requirements.
The Ropemakers' Academy opened in September and is aiming for providing outstanding provision for 80 children aged between 4 and 16 with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs. The school is part of The Beckmead Trust, who have a proven record of providing outstanding care and support for a range of children with Special Educational Needs.
You will be part of a team supporting our aims to provide the very best education for our pupils, and will bring your natural caring and nurturing ethos to support our team to ensure our pupils feel safe, valued and trusted. As a result of their needs, some of our pupils can present with challenging emotional responses, and so you will need to be adaptive and resilient, even within this role. We don't judge our pupils on their behaviours and actions, we understand them and support them to change.
