Horsham District Council are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-driven Commercial Administrator Apprentice to work within our Parking and Waste Department.
As Commercial Administrator Apprentice you will be working within the busy Commercial Waste team who are responsible for Commercial services within the Waste and Recycling team.
Supporting a team of Commercial Waste professionals, you will develop the knowledge, skills and experience you need to build excellent relationships with clients and colleagues, provide a high level of customer service and deliver excellent administration support services.
You will assist the team with a range of administrative duties, including responding to enquires from a range of clients via telephone and email.
To succeed as Commercial Administrator Apprentice, you will have a positive, enthusiastic and collaborative attitude. You will develop the skills you need to communicate with customers and the general public in a polite and professional manner. You will also be building your confidence and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, using your initiative, adapting to challenges and changing priorities.
You will be fully supported to achieve a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship through a mix of classroom workshops and remote learning, with 20% of your working week dedicated to off-the-job learning. We will provide the necessary resources and on-the-job mentoring to equip you with the skills, experience and knowledge required to fulfil this role.
