The Governing Body of Stockbridge Village Primary School are seeking to appoint candidates to two new full time and innovative posts:
Learning Coach Level 2 [x 2 posts]
Pay Band D / SCP 5-6
£19,312 - £19,698 per annum. pro rata
[Actual Salary: £14,236 - £14,521]
30 hours per week, 46 weeks per year [Term time only]
To commence September 1 2021
Applicants will need to demonstrate experience of working with children preferably in the primary phase and ideally at Key Stage 2. These new posts will enable successful candidates to join an outward-facing, collaborative school team who work tirelessly to support and challenge all our children in our culture of Learning without Limits. Successful candidates will work in classes to support teachers in coaching every child in their curriculum work, oracy, and their emotional and social development. Applicants must be willing to sometimes work 1 to 1 with children with SEND, but not exclusively. You will be expected to willingly contribute to the wider life of school, supporting a variety of work, and extra-curricular activities as appropriate. Professional development will be provided and you will be well-supported in our high trust school.
NVQ qualification to at least level 2 is essential and GCSE in Maths and English highly desirable.
NB: One post may be offered at Level 3 for a suitable candidate who can contribute to our Languages curriculum, ideally as a Spanish speaker.
