About the role
You will manage a caseload of individuals requiring functional assessments and identify necessary interventions which may include, moving and positioning, equipment and adaptations, to make a real difference to our service users. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team.
The Advice and Wellbeing Hub
The Advice and Wellbeing Hub works alongside individuals, who are not currently supported through Social Services, to continue to meet the outcomes that are important to them, using innovative approaches.
You will support individuals to remain in their own homes and maximise their independence using a strengths-based approach working with the individual to find solutions.
You will use equipment, adaptations, new techniques and other OT interventions to support the individual.
This post offers opportunities to improve your skills and experience in Adult Social Care with high quality, client-led, interventions to service users in their own homes, in friendly and supportive teams.
You will be working from home and in an office.
You will work within the legal framework provided by the statute, guidance, policies and procedures.
You will need to have:
- A degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
