West Berkshire Council’s Housing Service has undergone a significant amount of change with an ambitious Service Improvement Programme coupled with investment designed to make it an excellent housing service and leading housing authority in the region.
We are now looking for a Housing Management Officer to take responsibility for the management of our temporary accommodation properties. You must be able to multi-task and take a hands on approach to supporting our compliance in our role as a landlord and ensure that tenancy management such as, lettings, breaches of tenancy and rent arrears are dealt with effectively and efficiently. You will demonstrate your strength as a team player assisting with housing related projects such as, the implementation of a new housing ICT system to manage rent accounts and contribute towards changes in policies and procedures. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual who is self-sufficient and has a ‘can do’ approach to join our Housing Service.

This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
