A new opportunity has become available to join the Building Communities Together (BCT) team at West Berkshire Council which is leading on a programme of work to build community wellbeing in West Berkshire. The post holder will provide administrative support specifically in respect of Domestic Abuse related activities whilst also supporting the work of the wider BCT Team.
You will be working to support the implementation of the Council’s new domestic abuse duties in line with Part 4 of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021. Partnership working is key for this role and you will be required to work alongside a range of statutory and non-statutory partner agencies in order to achieve greater outcomes.
You will have at least two years’ office experience and be committed to the work of the team.
This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
