About the role
We have the opportunity to offer a 20-hour Domestic Assistant post at the Phoenix Centre in Lewes.
The Phoenix Centre is based around the centre of Lewes, providing a day care service for individuals who have care and support needs.
This role will involve:
Cleaning of designated areas, to include cleaning, washing, sweeping and vacuuming, laundry, this will include toilets and associated facilities
To operate, where necessary, appropriate powered equipment to undertake the main duties of the post e.g. carpet cleaning equipment
To assist in the monitoring and ordering of cleaning materials
To assist in completing any associated paperwork
We are looking for someone who can use their own initiative, plan their work and work as part of a team.
Full induction and training will be provided
All staff are provided with full PPE and have access to weekly Covid testing
Full time staff receive 24 days holiday plus bank holidays – this will be pro-rata for part time staff.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
