Who are we?
ccha are a small local housing association based in central Croydon. We have around 45 employees, so the organisation prides itself on having a small, family feel. Despite this we are constantly responding to change and things can be fast paced which makes it a vibrant and enjoyable environment. We have a hard-working group of staff and require a bright and motivated Individual to join us.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking to find a reliable, motivated person with a can-do attitude to join our team ensuring all our landlord obligations are met within our ccha’s supported living sites in Croydon, Sutton, Bromley, and Orpington.
The role includes weekly Health & Safety checks/inspections, as well as maintenance reporting and tracking repairs, overseeing replacement of furniture and white goods, and assisting with management of void properties.
To ensure residents with additional needs receive appropriate support you will be working collaboratively with support providers and our Tenancy Management Officers to ensure residents understand and follow their tenancy agreements.
This is a highly varied role in which no two days will be the same! We are looking someone who can be reactive and flexible while delivering a high standard of customer service to all ccha, residents, support providers, contractors, and colleagues.
This role is for 28 hours per week, over a 4-5 day working week. Additionally, you will also be expected to participate in the out of hour’s on-call rota for 1 week every 8 weeks.
What can we offer?
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent customer service skills who is interested in social housing and looking for a part time role with flexibility on your working pattern (subject to agreement and core hours cover).
ccha strive to provide very high levels of customer service and quality properties – in this you will directly see the work you do relate to our corporate objectives and share in the pride of achieving our goals.
Most of the working day will be out at our schemes and offices. But you will also be working from home at other times and interact with a wide range of people, from our residents to suppliers and colleagues.
You will receive training and support, and gain insight into other areas of the association and social housing in general.
This role involves travelling to our schemes – you will need a full driving licence and a car with business insurance. A standard DBS check are required for this role.
