Hours of work: 16.5 hours LSA plus 5 hours MDSA per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.65 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

About the role
We are pleased to announce that the school is growing to 14 classes in September, therefore we are looking for a hardworking, caring and talented Learning Support Assistant to join our team and continue the excellent work that is already going on here.

The position is being advertised as a fixed term contract for 1 year with a view to making it permanent at the end of the first year.
The main responsibility of the post will be to support children with their learning - in whole class, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. Applicants should be innovative, enthusiastic and flexible with an interest and knowledge of child development and an understanding of child protection procedures. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a sensitive and empathic approach to working with young pupils and be able to proactively support pupils with barriers to learning.
